PPLH Seloliman is a non governmental organizations that are non profit. Through a variety of activities offered and facilities available, until now PPLH Seloliman able to contribute to the handling of the environment in East Java . 

Ricefields, Hiking Mt Penanggungan and village life

Morning departure from Malang, As soon as you leave the ‘high way’ on route to Seloliman, you will be amazed by the terraced rice fields. You never expected such beauty in crowded Java. Take two days to explore less known areas in East Java and village life.Around lunch you reach the environmental education centre (PPLH) in Seloliman, Mojokerto. You have time to install yourself in your romantic cottage, to have lunch and to explore the centre. Among others the architecture and the energy saving techniques are interesting as is the traditional herbal garden. In the afternoon a guide will take you around in the area to explore village life; to find out how locals, besides farming, maintain themselves in a rural area.

Day 2 : SELOLIMAN - TREKKING MT PENANGGUNGAN - MALANG / YOUR DESTINATION

(BREAKFAST AND LUNCH)

The next morning it’s time for hiking to the top of Mt. Penanggungan, a walk of around 5 hours. At the top you can take in the landscape, and if the weather is clear you can see Surabaya. On the way back to Seloliman you will visit a few of the 80 Hindu temples that were found on the slopes of this mountain, relicts of the Airlangga dynasty.
